I've been hosting fun, successful events for over 40 years! I used to advertise myself as "Oregon's Most Experienced DJ." It eventually occurred to me that "Most Experienced" was a euphemism for "Oldest." So I decided to set that label aside. Then in 2012, The Eugene-Register Guard referred to me as KRVM's "beloved" Jivin' Johnny Etheredge. "Beloved?" We still laugh about that one around KRVM. We figured out that "beloved" is a euphemism for "the old cranky guy."
Every year the speakers and amps get a little bit heavier, and the gate on the back of the gigmobile gets a little bit higher. I keep trying to retire, but a lot of regular customers and long-time fans aren't taking "no" for an answer. I accept a limited number of bookings. Feel free to contact me to discuss your special event. I'm too lazy to work, and too nervous to steal. You don't have to take my word for it. I've listed references: Mobile DJ/MC.
